9. Your Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights)

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, if you are a consumer purchasing goods online from us, you have the right to withdraw from your contract within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you may:

• Click the “Withdraw from Contract” button displayed on the cart, checkout, or My Account page on our website. Upon submission, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement email confirming the date and time your request was received.
• Email us directly at sales@toolequip.ie stating your name, order number, and intention to withdraw.

Please note: The EU Withdrawal Button plugin is in place specifically to meet our obligations under EU consumer protection legislation, providing a dedicated withdrawal mechanism, a persistent withdrawal button across key pages, and an automatic acknowledgement of receipt — all as required under EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

Upon valid withdrawal, we will reimburse your payment within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as your original transaction. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods, personalised/bespoke items, or sealed goods unsealed after delivery.
