DeWalt’s first FlexVolt hedge trimmer, with a 54-volt motor for great blade speed and torque. DeWalt was able to add a 650mm long bar with blades on both sides, with a gap between the blades that allows you to cut branches up to 31mm due to the higher voltage and high performance brushless DC motor unit.

This machine performs similarly to a gasoline-powered tool, but with less noise and no gasoline or oil pollutants.

As previously stated, the brushless motor not only provides increased performance and power, but it also has the advantage of being almost maintenance-free and providing significantly more runtime per battery pack.
