Festool 574561 One Handed Planer 110volt EHL65 in systainer most popular Festool planer as it’s light but can also take up to 4mm at a time out of hardwood.  It has only one cutting blade unlike other brands it’s both curved and angled so it cuts like a guillotine or knife.

As a result, giving a very clean cut with no ridges. (unlike many 2 bladed planers). Plus, the angled blade also prevents streak marks when the blade gets damaged from hitting pins.
