Souber JIG1 DBB Mortice Jig precisely cuts mortices and faceplates when used with a power drill. Quick and easy to set up, with self-centring mechanism and clamps onto the door edge securely. Very clean cuts thanks to the carbide tipped mortice cutter, cuts through door hinges, electric release and strike plates. So, DBB mortice lock fitting jig will only work properly with a Electric drill 13mm chuck at a speed of 2000-3000 rpm (MOST CORDLESS AND SDS DRILLS are too slow). Please ask for advice if unsure. Must have tool for anyone who fits locks regularly such as locksmiths and builders. Finally, JIG1 Morticer is ideal for use on plain edge door where the lock is centrally fitted.
