• Always grease sds plus shanks before and during use.This will reduce heat build up and reduce wear on the machine & chisel itself
• Before using any sds plus machine – check that it has hammer action only mode and ensure that this is engaged before using the chisel
• Do not use on a machine that does not have this option
• Channelling chisels (DP-SDS-CC30/55/20) can be resharpened if they become blunt. Use a grinder or a good quality file
• Raking chisels are designed to have a shorter length in order to transmit as much power as possible
• For scutch comb holders – keep scutch comb teeth (or droves) in contact with the material at all times to stop the comb being levered out of the holder
• Mortar raking, tile removing and channelling chisels incorporate cranked shanks to ensure that the machine is angled away from the material being worked on
